Travel With Us Through the History of the Community of Latrobe, Pennsylvania
The Society is dedicated to the collection, study and documentation of the Latrobe community's heritage and to the preservation of local history and its ethnic roots.
Changes for 2025

Membership - Memberships will be $25. Tiered memberships have been eliminated.

Donations - Donations can now be made to PayPal Giving Fund. See Donation page. We incur no fee for this service.

Appeals - Mailings of appeal notices will be included as a page in the Gazettes to reduce labor and mailing cost for letters.

Thank You - Thank you letters will be communicated via email for those who have provided an address.

Displays - Plans for upgrading displays to be interactive and interpretive using outside professionals have started. Starting with Fred Rogers. Others to follow: Professional Sports, Rural Mail Delivery and King Coal and Coke. Plans for providing Reader Rails or other means of signage for the glass cases have started.

Security - A lock box will be installed on the front entrance to allow the Latrobe Fire Department to gain emergency access.

Storage - Map cases donated by the Westmoreland County Historical Society were installed for large print storage.
